I was very impressed by the excellent journalism of the people covering Yachting Club’s WTHCon. The writing was compelling and true-to-fact, and the photography was excellent. As a person who attended the convention and the Geek Auction, however, I was upset about the number of pictures devoted to Matthew Haselton, Editor-in-Chief of The Guilfordian. While it should be noted that many more fantastic pictures are posted on The Guilfordian Web site, the convention would be much better represented in the paper with pictures of the other gentlemen who sold themselves for charity, pictures of the Video Game room, the Dai Kaiju battle, or our major guest, Greg Stolze. Matthew did a fantastic job with his costume and his sketch for the Geek Auction. He earned a lot of money for charity, but I think this shows very blatant favoritism and it hurts the respectability of The Guilfordian. -Sylvia Toth
