Aliene Howell and Jeremy Eaton — 3rd floor Binford

There are only two words for this second place first-year duo: thoroughly impressive. Never have I experienced a dorm room — especially one with such limited arrangement possibilities as Binford has — as cozy, creative, and comfortable as Aliene and Jeremy’s room. There is no possibility of boredom in this room — there’s too much to look at! This tremendously artsy-fartsy team has covered just about every inch of the “Guilford College White” walls. There are tons of lighting possibilites (always important, you know) ranging from chili pepper lights, Christmas lights, paper lanterns, sparkly start lights, and even the overhead light which glows through beautiful sequined scarves hung from the ceiling. Of course, the clarinet above the window and the gloves on the antennae are a very nice touch. But the full effect of this room is indescribable. It’s a definite must-see.
