This Senate meeting we formed groups and discussed a possible divide among the non-athlete students and student athletes on campus. From the discussions we found that it would seem that the divide is not real but is perpetuated by students to make others think it is real. We also discussed how these ideas of a divide had started and how we can bridge a divide if there is such a divide between students. Some ways to bridge this divide would be to have more events on campus for everyone to go to and better advertisement on campus for sporting events. Better communication and advertising of events would help bridge the divide between students.
