Senate Update

In this week’s Senate meeting, we formed several groups with students from varying campus organizations to come up with ideas for a series of questions. These included, “What are your groups already doing to incorporate anti-oppression into the work they do? What ways are your groups missing the incorporation of anti-oppressive work into what they do? What steps can you take to fill those gaps?” The Senate meeting was very successful in discussing ideas to incorporate anti-oppression into the work of clubs and ways to improve clubs in these areas. One idea that stood out was that more people need to get involved in the community via clubs and Senate.
