Transparency
- Make known to students the layers that compose the student government, and what services are available.
- Strive to make all layers of government affairs and decision making transparent; this includes judicial affairs that affect the entire community, safety violations on campus, and handbook policy changes.
Accountability
- Financial status reports from anybody who received money from Senate.
- Senate Executive Counsel will review reports.
- Student surveys on campus wide issues and services.
Students Rights
- Inform the students of judicial rules, processes, and their rights within the Guilford community.
Decongesting the Handbook
- Altering the handbook so rules, regulations and standards are clear and concise.
Quaker Review Board
- Quaker values are an issue often raised, but rarely understood completely.
- Issues of Quaker values both in senate and on the broader campus can be reviewed with fairness and consensus.
- We wish to institute a Quaker Review Board comprised of students of the Quaker faith who feel led to be involved decision making.
Representation of Students
- Senate is a medium through which the student voice is heard and funded, as it delegates the use of student activity fees.
- Students should take part in the allocation of funds as it can be used to express our interests and build our community.
- The variety and diversity on this ticket represent the traditional students on campus ranging from first-years to fourth-years. These perspectives allow for the best possible representation of the student body
