Students came to listen to Tyson speak about his book "Blood done sign my name"; the lecture was introduced with well-received singing by Mary D. Williams; other panelists, including Tyson's father, Vernon Tyson, and Holocaust scholar Fred Katz looked on while Tyson explained his comments on the race and reconciliation theme of the program.
