Greetings all, and welcome Trustees and other invited guests.

As most know, today we invite our Board of Trustees into our midst. Joining us in our classrooms, our offices, and even in our cafeteria, I know we will all extend warm hearts, minds and of course food, to these honored members of our community.

With Spring Break just around the corner, more and more sectors of our community are moving into preparations for next year, none the least of which are our student groups and organizations. With the very short month of March in our midst, the time for transition and secession is now upon us.

Applications and ballots for some of our major clubs on campus are now available at the information desk. Namely, applications for Editor-in-Chief of The Quaker (yearbook), The Guilfordian (student newspaper), or The Piper (literary magazine) can now be submitted. All applications are due by 5 p.m. on March 4. Remember to attach your schedules to your application so that an interview time can planned with the appropriate parties.

If you are interested in the General Manager position for WQFS, please contact current General Manager, Erin Heakin.

And, of course, ballots for executive positions of Community Senate and Student Union are still being accepted both at the Info Desk and in the Library. BALLOTS ARE DUE FRIDAY, MARCH 4 (one week from today).

Senate/Union forums will be held the week prior to elections. ELECTIONS ARE ON TUESDAY MARCH 22.

Though elections will be done online this year, students will only have access to the polls in Boren lounge from 7a.m. until 7p.m.

Make sure your completed ballot is in by next Friday. Write-in Ballots will be considered based on the rules and guidelines outlined by the Elections Committee.
