Thanks to all who came out to the first of the monthly Town Hall meetings. It went really well, and I was encouraged to see the level of productivity we were able to achieve among the group.
Special thanks to Liz Nemitz, Community Concerns Chair and organizer of the Town Hall meetings; she did a wonderful job in facilitating and we are much appreciative of her hard work.
For those who were not able to attend, we discussed the smoking policy that went into affect on Aug. 1. Policy details can be found in the Student Handbook and on the Guilford website).
Students, faculty and staff gave constructive feedback and I encourage those who are interested to continue to help improving this policy so that it better fits our community.
